About
2Frosh, born David Ogunniyi, is a Nigerian record producer and songwriter. Active since 2019 and based in Lagos, he is known for experimental sound design that pulls in influences from across the map, and for taking a record from the first melody to the final master.
Formally trained in music theory, he has written more than 200 songs and collaborated with over 50 artists worldwide. His credits include names such as Mavo, Wavestar, Zlatan, Shallipopi, Ayra Starr, Davolee, Bhadboi OML, Lyta, Portable, Boydelian, Teswess, Sabi Boy and Ivorian Doll.
His own releases include the recent albums Archive and Purple Summer. Across his releases and credits, his work has passed more than 200 million streams.
Alongside custom production, mixing and mastering for artists, he runs a catalogue of more than 700 beats available to license.
